About
A human-centered practice.
Built on fifteen years inside the corporate world and a desire to help people navigate it — I built Human at Work to give professionals a place to work through complexity and get to the heart of what's going on.
The
Story
I’m Jamie. I’ve spent the last fifteen years working in the corporate world of ad tech.
I've navigated acquisitions, reorganizations, leadership transitions, difficult managers, anxiety, burnout, promotions, layoffs, and the many moments in between that shape a career. Those experiences taught me how to navigate complexity while staying grounded, and eventually showed me the kind of work I wanted to do more of.
Over time, I realized the work I enjoyed most wasn't just navigating complexity myself — it was helping other people navigate it too.

Now I work with mid- to senior-level professionals who are navigating workplace challenges like a complex acquisition, a promotion or identity shift at work, burnout, a difficult decision, a hard conversation, or simply a situation that feels too big and requires deeper attention.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
Working through a company restructuring and new role, while low on sleep and self-care time had me against the ropes and engrossed in the chaos. Jamie helped me step back and look at the situation through an objective lens, talked me through prioritizing multiple aspects of my life, and developed a concrete plan for me to carve out space for everything I needed to center myself. Jamie’s authenticity, curiosity, and naturally joyful demeanor were indispensable as a full-time working parent.
The
Throughline
Throughout my time in the corporate space, I've remained very aware that we're all just humans, taking care of loved ones, juggling work and personal life, exploring our hobbies, and experiencing life's ups and downs. All of that shapes us and how we show up at work.
My experience and human-centered approach are the backbone of Human at Work.
Who I
Work With
People who are human at work.
Senior individual contributors, managers, and professionals dealing with tension at work with a peer, a difficult manager, a stalled promotion, a loss of confidence, or the general sense of being stuck.
My
Approach
Direct, but respectful.
I'll hold you accountable with grace. I'll push you where I know you need it and can take it — and I'll bring the business knowledge and lived experience to know where that line is.
Working
WITH ME
