A human-centered practice.

Built on fifteen years inside the corporate world and a desire to help people navigate it — I built Human at Work to give professionals a place to work through complexity and get to the heart of what's going on.


I’m Jamie. I’ve spent the last fifteen years working in ad tech — through acquisitions, rebrands, promotions, and building and leading teams.

A lot of my work has involved figuring things out when they’re not clearly defined — spotting gaps and patterns, and working through them with leadership.

Working in high-pressure, ambiguous environments while managing and coaching people through them taught me how to stay grounded in those situations.

And help other people do the same.

Working through a company restructuring and new role, while low on sleep and self-care time had me against the ropes and engrossed in the chaos. Jamie helped me step back and look at the situation through an objective lens, talked me through prioritizing multiple aspects of my life, and developed a concrete plan for me to carve out space for everything I needed to center myself. Jamie’s authenticity, curiosity, and naturally joyful demeanor were indispensable as a full-time working parent.

Throughout my time in the corporate space, I've remained very aware that we're all just humans, taking care of loved ones, juggling work and personal life, exploring our hobbies, and experiencing life's ups and downs. All of that shapes us and how we show up at work.

Direct, but respectful.

I'll hold you accountable with grace. I'll push you where I know you need it and can take it — and I'll bring the business knowledge and lived experience to know where that line is.
